To create your ornament, simply upload a clear photo of your dog using the upload section on this page. A high quality image taken at your dog’s eye height will achieve the most beautiful result. Side profile photos work especially well, and minimal background detail helps the lithophane glow evenly.

Photo Requirements

To create the clearest and most beautiful lithophane glow, please upload a high quality image of your dog. The photo you choose directly affects the level of detail, contrast, and overall finish of your ornament.

For the best result:
• Use a clear, sharp photo with good lighting
• Take the photo at your dog’s eye height
• Side profile images work beautifully for lithophane detail
• Keep background elements minimal so the glow remains even
• Avoid dark, blurry, cropped, or heavily shadowed photos

Ordering ornaments for more than one dog:
Please upload one photo per ornament so we can create each piece with the correct image. Add each ornament to your cart separately with its matching photo.

If you are unsure which image to choose, upload your best option and we will review it. If another photo is required, we will contact you before production.

Details & Care

Each ornament is custom created using your supplied photo and crafted as a two sided lithophane piece. The front features your dog’s personalised portrait and name (optional), while the reverse carries a dated Merry Christmas design. When lit with the included LED tea light, the ornament glows warmly and brings the image to life with a gentle flicker. It can be displayed on a shelf or hung on the tree with the included ribbon.

Materials and Sustainability:

Our ornaments are made with PLA (polylactic acid), a plant-derived biopolymer sourced from renewable materials such as corn starch and sugarcane. PLA offers excellent detail clarity for lithophanes while maintaining a reduced environmental footprint compared to petroleum-based plastics. It is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and chosen for its balance of strength, lightness, and sustainability.

All busts and ornaments are made to order and shipped from Brisbane, Queensland.
With Australia Post entering peak season, the following dates are the final cut offs for guaranteed Christmas delivery within Australia:

Standard Economy Shipping:

Cost: Flat rate of AUD $12.50 (AU delivery address only)
Estimated Delivery: 3–15 business days (after production time)

Express Shipping:

Cost: AUD $17.50 (AU delivery address only)
Estimated Delivery: 3–7 business days (after production time - Express Shipping option is for delivery timeframes only and does not change the 3–7 days required to make your order)

Each piece is made to order. Please allow 3–7 business days for printing and hand-finishing before dispatch. All orders are formed, processed and dispatched within 3–10 business days unless otherwise specified. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

While we aim to meet these timeframes, delivery estimates are indicative only. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, or other factors beyond our control. Fetch & Form is not responsible for such delays.

International Shipping

Estimated Delivery: 5–27 business days
International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping fees.

Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Due to the time required to 3D print each item—up to 42 hours depending on the model and size—delivery delays may occur. We appreciate your patience as each piece is carefully crafted to order.

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched, including tracking information where applicable.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Fetch & Form is not responsible for delivery issues arising from incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, please contact us at contact@fetchandform.com.au, and we will assist in locating the parcel or arranging a resolution where appropriate.

Disclaimer

Each ornament is custom made to order and individually finished, so slight variations in colour, texture, or surface appearance are normal. These qualities are part of the handcrafted character of every piece and are not considered defects.

Lithophane-style ornaments may display fine layer lines or subtle variations inherent to the 3D printing process. Light dispersion and glow intensity can also vary depending on the photo provided and the internal structure of the print.

Measurements may differ slightly due to material properties and finishing.

Product photos are representative only. Every ornament is uniquely shaped by the supplied image and is one of a kind.

We are not responsible for damage caused by mishandling, drops, incorrect battery handling, exposure to heat, water, chemicals, or pets and children.

If your ornament arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours with clear photos of the product and all packaging materials. Keep all packaging until we confirm the next steps.
